The poet James Kirkup says that no one is strange and no countries are foreign because all have the same body that breathe. We all like our brothers, walk on one land, i.e; the earth. They are familiar with the sun, air and water, fed by harvests, starved in winters, by long wars, all labour with their hands. They all have eyes that keep awake or sleep and strength which can be won by love. There is life in every land. The poet blames the humans for spoiling the earth and for outraging the innocence of the world. He, at last reminds us that we all are same and no one is foreign.
